join the 2026-2027 ubpc board of directors

Behind every powerful halftime performance, every flawless competition run, and every unforgettable student experience is an army of dedicated parent volunteers working quietly behind the scenes. Our band program simply cannot operate at its full potential without the time, talent, and energy of parents and supporters who step forward to serve. Union Band Parents Club Board of Directors members play a vital role in supporting the Directors, organizing events, managing resources, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive in a well-supported, high-quality program.

We are looking to fill vacant positions for the 2026-2027 school year

Next year’s members will serve their roles starting in June 2026 through May 2027.

A few of the specific roles potentially in need are the following:

  • Fundraising Directors

  • First Aid Coordinator

  • Corporate Sponsorship Director

  • Merchandise Coordinator

It’s also possible for two people to share a role as Co-Directors or Co-Coordinators with one collective vote towards Board decisions.

The Nominations Committee will soon be reviewing applications and actively recruiting qualified volunteers to help fill these upcoming vacant positions. They carefully evaluate each applicant’s interests, strengths, and availability to thoughtfully place individuals in roles where they can be successful and make the greatest impact on the program.

While every booster board position is important, the level of time commitment and responsibility can vary from role to role. Some positions require ongoing coordination and leadership throughout the year, while others are more focused on specific projects or seasonal support, allowing volunteers to choose opportunities that best fit their availability and comfort level while still making a meaningful contribution.

For a more comprehensive understanding of what roles are available and brief descriptions of responsibilities, please visit the UBPC Board of Directors page.
