Calling all Parents, Alumni, and Community Patrons to do your part to help make the Union Band a great organizations for kids! The simplest way to get started is by joining the Union Band Parents Club as a member, then by renewing annually.

How are membership funds used?

Funds gained through memberships support the UBPC general fund, which helps keep student participation fees as low as possible. Funds are used to pay for software systems, supplies, professional administrative services, and various other expenses.

What do the UBPC members do?

UBPC members are mostly parents that want the best band experience for their students.  The band parent/UBPC member experience is different for everyone, depending on the amount of time each person has available to commit.  Generally speaking, members volunteer, attend UBPC meetings, fundraise, watch practices together, help with special events, travel with the band, chaperone on trips, provide hospitality for judges and other events, make friends with other parents and cheer on the band.  UBPC members are there to answer questions (especially for 1st year marching band students – yikes!) and support you when your student graduates (try not to think about it – it will be here before you know it!)
