what is support my season?
A fundraiser where 100% of donations go directly to YOUR student’s band account fees.
Funds helps cover UNIFORMS, TRAVEL EXPENSES, MEALS, EQUIPMENT, PROPS, CLINICIANS AND SHOW DESIGN.
No selling products - Just asking for SUPPORT from family, friends and your community.
HOW IT WORKS
SHARE the fundraising link or QR Code with EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
Supporters can choose their donation amount. From $5 to $500 - every dollar makes a difference.
ONLINE PAYMENTS: Can be made at THIS PAYMENT PORTAL (Make sure they know your student’s full name).
CHECK BY MAIL: Checks made payable to UBPC, P.O. Box 471915, Tulsa, OK 74147-1915 (MUST have your student’s name on there).
100% OF YOUR DONATION GOES INTO THE STUDENT’S ACCOUNT. No processing fees.
tips for a successful fundraiser
PARENTS
GET YOUR STUDENT’S INVOLVED!
Help your student brainstorm and reach out to adults in their lie that would be potential supporters.
Share on social media and encourage friends to SHARE.
Consider sending out-of-town relatives a personal email or flyer with a handwritten letter from your student.
STUDENTS
Make a list of 10-20 people to ask: Grandparents, Neighbors, Family Friends and other Family Members.
Use specific amounts when asking:
“Could you cover a week of my expenses for $75?
“Would you be able to help sponsor me for a month for $275?”
“Can you help me out with a one-day sponsorship for only $10?”
BE ENTHUSIASTIC!
ALWAYS give back a shout out or a personal thank you - this part goes a LONG way. Even if they cannot donate.
