The 2025 Uniform and Member-gear fitting makeup event is scheduled for Saturday, August 16.

THIS IS A REQUIRED EVENT FOR ALL UNION BANDS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. PARENTS NEED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT WITH THEIR STUDENT. FEES AND PAYMENTS WILL BE DISCUSSED.

• This event takes place in the BAND BUILDING HALLWAY and BAND ROOMS.

• Please limit additional family members at the fitting session with the student.

• PARKING

  • please park in the UHS Northeast/Collegiate Academy lot & enter through the band building bus loop (north) doors

    • see parking/entry map here

  • Do not park on red-painted Fire access curbs

  • Avoid the south lots & entrances.

• During the session, members will fit for:

  • the band uniform worn for home football games (this is also the competitive marching band's uniform). There is NO CHARGE for use of this uniform.

  • formal concert attire uniform worn at other concerts during the school year.  There is NO CHARGE for use of this uniform.

  • member gear.  More details below; prices vary by level of participation.

• EXPECTED DURATION of FITTING SESSION:

  • for Freshmen & Other Incoming/New Members: 1 hour

  • for Returning Members: 30 minutes

Please note that all items listed above are a one-time purchase (not annual purchases), as the attire will be used in subsequent years of participation.

***New members need to come to the fitting session prepared to purchase these items (cash, check, credit card via PRESTO) unless the student's PRESTO account has a sufficient credit balance.***

RETURNING MEMBERS

Returning members may also purchase any replacement gear needed.

MANDATORY ACCESSORIES

In addition to the issued band uniform and purchased member gear (team shorts, t-shirts, marching shoes, etc), every member (whether RRegiment or Non-Competitive participation) will need to have:

• UNDERGARMENTS

  • sliders (compression/biker shorts)

  • a black tank top or cami

  • long black socks

• Marching band shoes (returning members bring)

These items must be worn to the uniform fitting session as well as at every event in which students will be wearing a uniform, so we suggest owning multiples of each accessory (except for the marching shoes - only one pair is needed).
