TCC LESSONS

High School band students who aren't already studying with a private lesson teacher but interested in taking private lessons should consider opportunities at Tulsa Community College Southeast Campus. TCC employs a faculty of highly-qualified music educators who serve students in the private lessons setting. In addition to the benefit of private instruction that is typically more affordable that tradition methods (see more info below), students may also earn college elective credits via (“Dual Credit”).

COSTS:

  • TWO OPTIONS

    • APPROXIMATE COST for a semester (16 weeks) of weekly sixty-minute (2 credit hours) private applied lessons instruction: $400 (which is a savings of approximately 40% when compared to the typical cost of traditional private lesson instruction from other local teachers/sources)

    • APPROXIMATE COST for a semester (16 weeks) of weekly thirty-minute (1 credit hour) private applied lessons instruction: $300 (which is a savings of approximately 25% when compared to the typical cost of private lesson instruction from other local teachers/sources)

  • APPLICATION to TCC is FREE of charge

STEPS:

  • Apply to TCC (free application): CLICK HERE

  • Following acceptance of application, the student will be assigned a “T number" (TCC student ID#)

  • Complete the enrollment process for the upcoming semester: CLICK HERE

    • It’s recommended enroll as a Non-Music-Major.

    • Select 30-min or 60-min weekly lesson duration

  • Contact TCC music faculty instructor to confirm acceptance into lessons for the given semester.

  • Coordinate the weekly lesson day/time with the instructor.
