Congratulations to Union Bands Senior Emma Plunkett, who won 1st place at Mayfest in the 9-12th grade category with her coral reef sculpture (shown below). Emma earned a $75 cash prize with this recognition.
Emma Plunkett plays French Horn in the UHS Symphonic Band, has served on the Student Leadership Team for three years, and currently serves as the Lead Drum Major for the Union High School Renegade Regiment. Additionally, Emma is active in Union High School Student Leadership, and was named a Top-4 Finalist for 2021 Miss Union.

2021 UNION H.S. Winter Guard
The Union High School Winter Guard has completed its 2021 competitive season. Despite this season’s irregularities, the guard’s dedicated members, teachers, and volunteers made this season a success.
Though the competitive season had only three live events this year, Union made a good showing, earning a First Place at a mid-season event, and Third Place at its final competition.
The public is invited to support the Union Guard by attending two upcoming non-competitive performances on Sunday, April 11 and on Tuesday, May 4, both held at the UMAC. Admission is free.
