RR Parade Day Update - Philadelphia Fri July 3

IMPORTANT UPDATE for PARADE DAY - FRI JUL 3

Officials have revised the start time of the parade to 11:00am, moved up by one hour.  This change affects the RR itinerary to some extent. The revised traveler itinerary is available at: https://www.unionbands.com/events/rr-summer-2026-east-coast#TripItineraryFri

INFO for SPECTATORS in the CITY

→ The event begins at 11am EDT.  We anticipate the RR step-off time to be approx 12:30pm but do not know with certainty.→  ***WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE VIEWING THE PARADE from either (1) Market Street between 6th and 8th Avenues, or (2) 6th Avenue between Market Street and Chestnut Street, or (3) Chestnut Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.  Viewing from areas beyond these areas (west of 8th Avenue) may risk not seeing the RR perform in the event that extreme heat causes the group to make an early exit from the parade route.

RR Summer East Coast Adventure Quick Update

Tue June 16, 1-2:30pm is the next scheduled rehearsal for the Renegade Regiment 2026 East Coast Trip.   Subsequent rehearsals are scheduled for Tue June 23, 1-2:30pm & Sat Jun 27, 9a-12p (rehearsal + trip meeting)

It's important that every member who can possibly attend rehearsals join us in preparation for creating a great performance and for conditioning for the physical demands of the parade. If unable to attend, please submit an absence report per usual. 

 ACTION ITEMS
→ All students must submit a required performer waiver; many have already submitted their hard copy. Please turn in the completed hard copy at the the Tues June 16 afternoon rehearsal (hard copy received on Tues June 9) or visit THIS LINK to submit electronically. The deadline to submit the waiver is Fri, June 19.

→ A current Medical Treatment Authorization is required for students attending the trip.
