This page is dedicated to helping students and their families learn about ways to fundraise for individual marching, guard, percussion and other band-related expenses. Student Account Fundraising is direct fundraising opportunities one can take to earn money for individual student accounts.

September 15 - october 3 

Available Products

B&G Sausage = $10.25 per 2 ½ lb roll

B&G Bacon = $19.75 per 3 lb package

B&G Chicken Tenders = $27.00 per 5 lb bag


WE COLLECT YOUR ORDERS THROUGH THE ONLINE FORM ONLY - PLEASE DO NOT TURN IN THE PAPER FORM.


HOW TO TURN IN ORDERS

Collect money:

  • Family and friends can send you money for their products however they like (cash, check, Cash App, Venmo, etc)

  • Keep track of the funds you receive (you can use an ORDER FORM to keep track) and how much your customers give you.

  • On October 7th, submit CASH OR CHECK ONLY to the Fundraising Team for the total amount of your sales.



Submit your order:

  • Using your printed order form, or your own list, tally up the total quantities of each product sold.

  • Submit your total sold through our online form BY MIDNIGHT on OCTOBER 3rd: ONLINE ORDER SUBMISSION 

  • Please do NOT submit more than one form. Email fundraisin@unionbands.com if you need to edit a submitted form.

  • We are only able to collect CASH OR CHECK for fundraising sales.



Turn in money:      

  • Sales money is Due on October 7th at the High School Band Building (RESOURCE NIGHT).

  • CASH OR CHECK ONLY: Checks must be made out to UBPC and the student’s full name and grade in the memo line.

  • You must ATTEND THE RESOURCE NIGHT or GENERAL PARENT MEETING on October 7th to hand in your sales money.


Delivery

  • Delivery is anticipated between October 13th - October 16th. (Exact date will be known by October 6th)

  • We will notify you via the BAND APP when delivered to the school. Be sure you have joined!

  • You MUST be able to pick up your order the day of delivery - this could be a weekday afternoon.

Estimated Profit Margins

Profit is calculated by subtracting the wholesale cost of items ordered plus sales tax (what B&G charges UBPC) from the total sale price for each student.

ESTIMATED PROFIT PER ITEM:
Sausage: $2.45 per roll
Bacon: $4.41 per pack
Chicken: $5.94 per bag

  • 100% of every donation goes directly to YOUR student’s band account fees.

HOW IT WORKS

  • SHARE your fundraising link or QR Code with EVERYONE YOU KNOW!

  • Supporters choose any donation amount ($5 - $500 or more - every dollar makes a difference!)

    • ONLINE PAYMENTS: Can be made at THIS PAYMENT PORTAL (Make sure they know your student’s full name).

    • MAIL A CHECK: Checks made payable to UBPC, P.O. Box 471915, Tulsa, OK 74147-1915 (MUST include student’s name).

  • 100% GOES INTO THE STUDENT’S ACCOUNT - No processing fees!


tips for a successful fundraiser

PARENTS

  • GET YOUR STUDENT’S INVOLVED!

  • Help your student brainstorm and reach out to adults in their lie that would be potential supporters.

  • Share on social media and encourage friends to SHARE.

  • Consider sending out-of-town relatives a personal email or flyer with a handwritten letter from your student.

STUDENTS

  • Make a list of 10-20 people to ask: Grandparents, Neighbors, Family Friends and other Family Members.

  • Use specific amounts when asking:

    • “Could you cover a week of my expenses for $75?

    • “Would you be able to help sponsor me for a month for $275?”

    • “Can you help me out with a one-day sponsorship for only $10?”

  • BE ENTHUSIASTIC!

  • ALWAYS give back a shout out or a personal thank you - this part goes a LONG way. Even if they cannot donate.

CHOCOLATE BAR SALES

World’s Finest Chocolate
Selling Information

PRODUCT: Chocolate Bars

  • Sales price: $1/$2 per bar

  • 6/7 Grade has 30 Bars per box, Sold for $1 each with $17 profit.

  • 8/High School has 60 Bars per box, Sold for $2 each with $27 profit.

  • Cases contain five chocolate bar flavors: Milk, Dark, Almond, Carmel, Crisp

  • UBPC will issue ONE box per student at a time

  • Additional boxes can be checked out by paying for them at checkout

Checking Out Chocolate to Sell - Two Options

  1. Students/Parents may check out ONE box in person at one of our UBPC Resource Nights. Schedule of events is HERE.

  2. Students/Parents may pre-order ONE box for the student to pick up in band class. Chocolate is distributed to students in band class on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Please note that requests made less than 24 hours before distribution may need to wait until the following week.

Turning In Money

  • Return $60 in the envelopes provided when ALL chocolate in the box is sold, or within 30 days of check-out.

  • You may not check out additional chocolate until you have paid for the previous box.

  • The student's PRESTO account will be credited with $27 for every case sold ($17 for 6/7 Grade). This profit may be applied towards band student fees or trip payments.

  • Payments can be placed in the safe at one of the following facilities:

    • Union High School Band Office - must ask a Director

    • U6/7 Center Band Office

    • U8 Center Band Office

  • Payments can be turned in at a High School Resource Nights

    • Check the UBPC Events Calendar for our scheduled Resource Nights

    • Fundraising does business from 6:00pm - 6:45pm in the Band Building.

    • Paid via Credit Card into your student’s Presto account (please indicated “WFC Fundraising” in the Description)

  • The following are NOT options for turning in money

    • NO COINS in payment envelopes. Please pay with cash or check only.

    • We can not make CHANGE.

    • Teachers can NOT be handed your payment envelope. All payments must be directly placed into a band safe by the student or paid by one of the other options above.

Rules

  • UBPC does not accept product returns for chocolate.

  • Students may not sell chocolate on school grounds during school hours.

  • Only one box may be checked out at a time. Payment must be received prior to checking out more product.

  • Payment is expected within 30 days.

SALES PERIOD

This is a year round fundraiser. Electronic gifts cards can be purchased at any time with RaiseRight Online Payment. Physical Gift cards are ordered by announcement. Right click on the image to the right to download and share via Social Media to get your friends and family members to shop while earning money for your student’s account!

Electronic Gift Cards are delivered into your RaiseRight account almost immediately with RaiseRight Online Payment
