UHS Indoor Drumline is bound for WGI!
The 2014 Union High School Indoor Drumline is DAYTON-Bound! The group, 32-students strong, departs late Tuesday night April 8 for the WGI Percussion World Championship. Their preliminary performance is schedule for 11am on Thursday April 10, held at the Wright State University's Nutter Center in Fairborn, OH, and can be seen live via webscast via the www.WGI.org website.

Renegade Roundup Results
Union Bands would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed their time, desserts, and donations to make the 2014 Renegade Roundup a fantastic success. Over $5,000 went into the General Fund for this event!
Union Bands 2014 Junior High All District Honor Band
Eighty-two Union Band students from the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth grades will represent us at the NBDA Junior High All District Honor Band Clinic in Claremore this past weekend. Clinics will be held Friday and Saturday, with the honor concert scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the Claremore High School PAC. Please join us in congratulating these fine young musicians as they represent Union with excellence!
Union Bands 2014 All-Staters
Union High School band students Matthew Blanchard (Senior-French Horn), Marie Gordon (Sophomore-Oboe), Megan Harju (Junior-Sax), Ethan Mueller (Senior-Euphonium), & Drew Thomas (Sophomore-Sax) have represented us well as members of the OKMEA 2014 All-State Honor Band. These students have participated in clinics on Thursday-Friday, (January 16-17) and presented an honor concert on Saturday, January 18 at the Tulsa PAC. Additionally we recognize Junior clarinetist Rachel Morris for earning an Alternate position in this fine group.
Union Bands is a fine arts entity of the Union Public Schools, an Independent School District located in southeast Tulsa, Oklahoma. This organization has a proud tradition of excellent students, teachers, parents, and directors, and is supported by one of the most progressive administrative teams in the country.
During the past three decades, Union Bands have provided unparalleled opportunities, experiences, and achievements for its young musicians and performers. As a result, the performing groups within the program have produced numerous state, regional, & national championships.
