Mr. Pisarra, a tenured Assistant Director & Union Alumnus, succeeds Matt McCready, who recently filled the position of Director of Fine Arts. McCready likewise succeeds Ed Tackett, who retired in May 2014 after 39 years leading fine arts programs at Union.  On June 30 Union Superintendent Dr. Kirt Hartlzer recommended Pisarra for the position of Director of Bands to the Board of Education, which will make its final approval of the hire at the district's July board meeting.  Please join us in welcoming Mr. Pisarra to his new post and in congratulating Mr. McCready on his promotion!
